Will happen again this year. The W.Mids ride will be starting outside FOE building on the Thurs before Aug bank hol weekend, pick up folks in Cov (venue tbc, hoping it'll be the Peace House) and then on to the Shambala festival site.
There'll be a single van to carry everyones tents and rucksacks / beer etc. It's a 50 mile ride and we've all day so it'll be very steady (anticipate dep Cov at 1pm after lunch).
What we need is folks who're going to Shambala, in the area, to choose to sign up to the rides - last year we had folks on it but not as big an uptake as the other rides (Derby, Leics, Shef, Bristol).

Also - some local advice from the Birmingham crew please - best way out of the city from Allison St, without hitting the A45 roads? Thinkin A34(?) towards Solihull then cut across to Hampton in Arden > Meriden kinda direction? Any other suggestions? I'll be riding that stretch at some point to test it so if anyone wants a Fixie spinout lemme know and I'll keep you posted on dates.
