Up for grabs as i wish i could keep it but slightly too big for me.
Hobbs of Barbican road frame/forks. These were renowned as the superior frame builders of there time making top quality clubmans frames and components.(they even made pedals, cranks and the most amazing bars)
It was refurbished a few years back with what seems to be period correct transfers and has been done to a high quality on the paint front with gold lug lining as a finishing touch.
It was built up and ridden so is not mint/showroom condition. There are a few chips here and there some touched up more visible on the head decal on the steerer.
Still a rare and attractive frameset. Check out the lug work which is very nice too.
The rear drop outs are very long making this perfect for a fixed project.
Seat tube ctc 57cm
Top tube ctc 57cm
Rear spacing 120mm
Will post frame number (left the info at work) tomorrow and year of production
Gone to a certain auction site.
