  • So I missed yesterday's or whenevers drama because I was out riding or doing something interesting.

Having just re-read it though... it seems: Nyquil posts a silly question, people facepalm, DJ tells him to fuck off back to bikeradar and whilst others are somewhat witty DJ goes so far as to call him a "complete fuckwit" which is probably about as civil as the interaction then is... what a wonderful welcome to the forum, it's less than a week since he joined.

So once you're done jumping down his throat and calling him this that and the other, he PMs you thta he wants to punch you. Well, that's not so surprising surely? I think I'd want to take a swing after that.

I can be all down about threats of physical violence, but it's got to be uncalled for. Otherwise aren't you just as bad as he? I'm quite happy to ban those who resort to threatening to beat people up, but only when it's the talk of an unhinged psycho, when it's in response to verbal abuse then it becomes hard to see who is the worse, who should I ban?

In the past I've banned both participants, one or the other. Seldom the one people expect, usually the one who triggers the escalation in the first place rather than the one who took a small step at the end of things.

DJ, you gotta relax on newbies, you were new once. There's nothing to suggest nyquil would've sent that PM without you stoking his fire constantly.

I still think all of your road incidents follow this format... DJ pisses off a driver, DJ stokes their fire, then claims innocence once it all explodes around him.

    FFS DJ!
