• Up for sale is the bike with possibly the most hyperbolic name in history.

Battaglin Millenium Superpower, the frame has a 54cm ctc seat-tube and 55cm top-tube and is built from Columbus 'Brain' tubing. It is in pretty good condition, with a few chips and a bit of minor wear to the decals - structurally spot on. It has a really nice distinctive lug at the seatpost cluster.

Front and rear mech and crank (172.5mm) are Campagnolo Veloce, brakes and ergo-levers are Athena (8 speed). the brakes are the lovely Monoplanar design. Wheels are Campagnolo hubs to Mavic 4CD ceramic rims (hand-built by Dave Russell). There is brake wear to both wheels, but they are perfectly true and have lots of life left in them.

the picture below is the latest I have - it now has a generic 80mm quill in place of the god-awful SR job depicted. I will be selling it without a saddle (my favourite - sorry) or pedals. It also now has black bar-tape

The bad news is that the rear hub needs to be serviced - you won't be able to ride away and it will need attention. It's annoying because other than that it is mechanically fine.

I'm after £270 collected from SE23. PM me, followed by dibs if ya wants it or with any questions. I'll try and get some better photos tomorrow. No postage on this one I'm afraid. Cheers.
