Dan, my lights bolt on and would take an allen key to remove. Have even survived night riding off road crashes. Get a decent set of lights and you won't loose em.

Has anyone noticed that rear light knogs are designed to be placed on the seat post, yet the design means that the L.E.D's are actually facing downwards slightly due to the angle of the seat post.

Nope, as the lights are angled slightly so the LEDs come out straight.

Unless they've changed the design since I last bought mine but my rear tyre gets a better view than other road users.
problem is.. I loose front lights ALL the time. I've had the same rear cat eye for about years now (held together with many bits of tape)... but front lights, I just can't keep hold of them for some reason.
