ive looked at the sticky thread, its based on the rider being able to move around and speak to people i wasnt able to do either of these. crashed then wasnt able to stand/talk/move. im covered in bumps and bruises my bikes fucked and i need a new helmet and new jacket as theyre fucked.
Firstly call the police now (as in immediately to report the incident). Then call the A&E and see if there is any useful information that the ambulance crew may be able to offer (witnesses etc). Finally, call a legal firm for advice. If you're a member of the LCC, call them first to get the free legal advice. Otherwise call an ambulance chaser to begin with.
In theory, when an ambulance is called to the scene of an RTA then the police are supposed to attend as well so hopefully they may already have some information. Do ask them about this.
