I'm coming from near Clapham Junction so anywhere on the way is fine with me. Brixton station or the Coach and Horses would be easy as it's then straight up Coldharbour lane

Just go over Tower Bridge or through rotherhithe. No stairs.

South's Coach and Horses it is. It's 7 miles, so a 6am start should give us more than enough time.

Yeah, 5:20, leave 5:30 is about right.

Don't you think it's more sensible to go another route though?

I know someone at the council may have said it's open to 7:30, but it wouldn't surprise me if they change that (after all it's not published anywhere), and if we end up at the north side of the tunnel we would be a bit fucked, unless they let 20 cyclists on the DLR.

there's a very specific reason I want to go through the foot tunnel. IF it's closed we'll be going through one of the tunnels so bring a rear light back over tower bridge.

I reckon there'll be <10 of us, maximum.

Last time we went from Brick Lane we ended up going up a massive hill. Any route that avoids this meets with my approval.
