Hiring a Bike

Posted on
  • Hi Guys,

I am going to visit my mate in london this weekend and he wanted to go for a bike ride with me within town or down to bristol.

The only problem is that he does not have a bike. Would you guys have any recommendations to where to hire a bike from?
Or even better does anyone have a bike she/he would be willing to lend him for the weekend (saturday 24/04 to sunday 25/04)

Think he is not really fused about the style of bike :)

    Cheers

  • Probably.

    What sort of bike?

  • Hi Chris !
thanks for the response. I think he does not have any preferences as long as he is capable of using it for a longer trip. If there is any damage to it we will come up for it, not that we are planning on damaging it anyways :)

What you would you have mate ?

  • argh and sorry for the confusion we are actually trying to get to brighton not bristol :)

  • I've heard about these, but not sure about the policy of just giving to randoms:

cheers mate, ill have a look :)

  • I've always been taken with the idea of being able to hire out a Brompton- get on a train somewhere new and go riding. But I don't think such a thing exists- it's probably open to too much mis-use.

  • Yeah I know what you mean, besides leaving a passport or the real value of the bike as a deposit mis-use can get an issue.

Did hire bikes in berlin without a problem, but i remembered i left my passport as a deposit once i was at the airport and try to check in to get my flight back home, that was annoying ;)

  • As i thought, velorution have some
