Nice vid, and top tunes. Last one samples Al Stewarts "Small Fruit Song" to great effect - awesome, never heard before.

  • C&H in Clapham, fuck it I've just thought about it some more and it's fine - will just be a little late there and I'll just be in the Duke earlier for a pint of cold stuff

I need to get off to the C&H too of course C. We can ride back at a reasonable time together.

  • Right - think I might be able to be there on Fri. I have to leave at 7.01 though to zoom back home in time to go out again.

I should be there from 6 though, if any other marshallengers fancy a quick one.

  • Dunno what happened about the stall on Sat but it seems to have got lost in the noise. still - unable to do it now in any event...

  • Still thinking, and similing, about this a week-and-a-half later. Sat around in my breeks last night to try and recreate some of the atmosphere :) Can't wait for another 12 months for another Tweed Run; thinking about flying over for the New York one...

If you can't wait there's a couple of other tweedy type events:

Boulogne Rally - http://www.theoldbicycleshowroom.co.uk/events-108-c.asp - already mentioned this, a gentle 25-miles around the pre-war GP road circuit on old bikes stopping at tabacs for beers.

L'Eroica - http://www.eroica-ciclismo.it/english/home.asp - first time this year for me, 100 miles on gravel roads 'round Tuscanny

  • Already booked the day off for the Goodwood Revival, cheaper on the Friday.
