I got a big mate and a fat long broom handle, stuck it through the saddle railings, I held the bike, he levered it. Took about 10 mins off beastly levering and bang!! It was free.
Fuck me that saddle is strong, Specialized one for about £60.
I tried other stuff to no avail, so this was a last resort.
