Did the ride recce tonight, went quite well - found a much safer and better way onto putney bridge
and an acceptable way through vauxhall.
Now there is a section that is towpath between putney and hammersmith - it's a bit rough in places but it's a really nice route, I don't think it would be great if it's wet though so I may have a backup road route just in case.
The other note is that Albert Bridge is semi closed, and open to foot traffic only, the footpath is quite narrow - it was a bit busy this evening so i got off an walked - but actually it was so nice I didn't mind. West London is so peaceful without planes!
I'm going to keep in Albert Bridge (as it's my favourite bridge in London) and depending on foot traffic on the day we can either ride it or walk it.
Will be doing another recce tomorrow and thurs night if anyone wants to join me (particularly domestiques) feel free. I'll be starting at Jubilee gardens at 6pm. Txt me if you're coming.
