you would think so. although the manager at an unnamed cycle shop in london has started an in-house competition with his staff to sell the most of a particularly groovy LED light. I have witnessed these lights being recommended and endorsed by various members of staff participating in the competition.......whilst they are strong, they are also tiny....and not sufficient for sole use as front and rear lights.
many customers have taken their advice. I have recommended strongly that they don't any time I've been present during this little game.
there are bike shop staff out there actually advising people that these lights are as good as a decent set, which they are not. so useful thread, I would say.
