last minutes with oden - i thought at first his dad was the one he was cut up about or he maybe was the one with cancer, then it turns out his fucking dog is the one hes all crushed about hahahaha, guess he did say he was a soft dude.

That's probably the most obnoxious "hahahaha" I've ever read. Yes, humans are more important than "fucking dogs", but that means you can't express a little thoughtfulness and emotion and grief because an animal dies?

Last time I cried was last year, I just remembered my old terrier, I had him since I was four, when I was 19 I couldn't find him anywhere until I thought of the pool, and dove in to search around in the muck to fish him out. That dog was a loyal friend for 15 years, and a constant link to a real and basic world separate from the bitchiness and angst of being a modern human.

So for me a little cry was in order when I remembered him... guess that makes me soft, but at least I'm honest.
