Ok ok let me word it differently. How do any of us know that any of the other bike stands in Brum aren't regularly targeted by thieving scum. Question mark. No matter where you lock your bike, it's vulnerable, because very few non-cyclists give a shit about bikes and because parts are so easy to steal. The thefts from the 24h security-and-CCTV-protected Mailbox car park are a prime example. However, If I was in your shoes I wouldn't want to lock my bike in the same place I had stuff stolen from previously, so I understand where you're coming from.
