I moved back to the UK last year after 15 years or so in Auckland (where riding a bike appeared either for men with legs of titanium or a penchant for bright lyrca and blue tounges). I'm currently right at the arse end of Streatham, by Norbury.
After a months of research and umming and ahhing, I decided to go the hybrid route and picked up a Globe San Fran 1 new for a song. Not riding a bike for 10 years or so to a single cog in London traffic seemed a 'challenge' but has proved fun - if somewhat prone to overdosing and resulting heavy protest from leg muscles.
Great sense of humour on here so I'm sure I'll be in good company. Thanks for the great read on the CTC training, will definitely get amongst that.
