• You may get mad at me for starting a new thread for this, but the frame (and the box I have to post it in) are really getting in the way in the workshop now, so I want rid.

'm not sure of the manufacturer (anyone?), but it's a pretty F/F combo in good condition. Few sticky marks from tape, few knocks but sound and strong. No dents. It's nice and light too! Comes with that weird old stronglight headset (working, but could use a little grease re-pack) It's designed for 27" wheels, but I see it as the basis for a town bike project. Some 700c's with nice 32's and mudguards would fill 'er up nicely and make for a plush ride. 120mm rear spacing. 26.4 seatpost.
Seat tube: 55CtC, 57 CtT. Top tube, 57CtC.

  • let the boy haggle

Just like omid djalili in them adverts!

  • He can haggle all he wants, he's not having it for £35.

  • yes, i agree £45 is a very fair price.

  • i'm quite interested. Are you not based in london?

  • what does it say at the bottom of the rear triangle? I can see something pressed into the frame.

  • One day only special. £40 posted

  • Do you think I could ride this when I'm 5"5? I'm very interested!!

  • Not sure, I don't have much experience at that end of the spectrum (I'm 6"8)

    Can anyone advise?

  • Looks pretty hot.

  • If it helps , I'm 5"6 (31" inside leg) and have a 61cm c2t short term for commuting. Saddle's almost touching the top tube, but it's a comfortable ride and I can put my foot down without catching a nad at the lights :p

  • any marks in the paint? i'm interested

There are some, aye. Nothing to be too worried about, just stuff from normal use. This is reflected in the price of course

Sounds as though your frame is waaaaaay too big for you.

  • To those who "dibsed" this via PM, I'm getting bored of waiting for you.
At 12 noon your dibs is no longer valid and it's up on the open market again.... for £30... POSTED!

First PM after noon gets it, all before ignored in the chance that those who've expressed interest in the past get back to me.

Yeah it is, but I bought it as a complete bike with the intention of switching the parts to a smaller frame. Althogh not a "perfect" size, it's still comfortable

  • Sold!

  • £30 is such a deal! :P
