Dunno if it's just me, but I think your bike is so small I can't even see it! :)
-
• #3
also if anyone has an idea of a good gear ratio to use (no expert but guessing 650's affect this), any help would be appreciated!

your image link isn't working.

^ That's what I meant. It's so small it's actually invisible.

Looks good!

Cute bike. Looks like fun.
(Makes the locks look massive, though).

cheers, will post a picture (with a link that works) with it's final set up when it's done :)

Looks lovely ruthy, although you may have gone overboard with the locks!

a thread for the vertically challenged, and maxcrowe is the first person to respond

Being very tall can be a challenge too. You shouldn't discriminate.
-
• #14
Thanks, Kris... But nothing is a challenge when you're this height :)

accept remembering which door frames you have to duck down to walk through. i have that problem anyway
-
• #16
I duck a bit for every door frame, natch. I've been this tall for ages so I don't really have to think about it.
It's more of a natural dip of the head than an awkward duck.

• #17
What's the opposite of vertically challenged? Vertically endowed?
-
• #18
Don't give those two silly ideas.

Ha! by natch i assume you mean naturally?
-
• #20
Yeah, best word ever. It's even written on my old Steamroller frame.

i was wondering where you had picked up such a ridiculous abbreviation. "natch" brings to mind a spoiled american child showing something off to her friends
"wow * insert text * where did you get your * insert text *?"
"daddy bought it for me natch"

Max should ride that Fuji, who wouldn't miss this for the world?

Ha, that's exactly how I imagine it too. Or just American bike hipsters, with long beards, ironic tattoos, drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon.
Max should ride that Fuji, who wouldn't miss this for the world?
BMX time, baby!

personally, at the moment- 'naturlich' is my favorite 'natch' alternative.
it sounds better- try it out.
thought i'd just post my joy of finding a bike! am getting a black fuji classic track, 43cm with 650c wheels after lots of advice given on lfgss (thank you!). still waiting to get brakes/singlespeed hub/new riser bars fitted but at present it looks like this:
just a heads up for any shorties who are looking, i contacted the fuji dealer who sent a bike into turnham green's action bikes. bit of a trek (i live east) but was worth it as most shops would make you put down a 50% deposit before you even got to test out a bike in an unusual size like this. not sure if they know much about fixed/ss and they have to order in most parts, but they're pretty friendly.
so if anyone is wanting to test them out, this is the place.
:)
