Fucking hell...!!!
What an awesome weekend....! I'd like to thank the many people who helped everything come together (in no particular order) Woody for being the kingpin of everything to do with housing the rabble, Ste for organising the goals, Kawasaki Neil for the bbq & tunes, the Saturday lunch break was excellent, so nice to see everyone just relaxing and chatting instead of stressing about polo, Paul for the last-last minute trophy soon to be installed at the Northgate i presume... all the sponsors for throwing in prizes at the last minute, particularly Snoops & Hassan for making us 3 Belk bags, awesome... all the MCR polo lot who have been harrassed into running errands and generally doing shit for me... Craig Nasty & Chris from Cantgoslo for sorting out the printing of the champs tees so we could raise a bit more money to help cover costs (sooooo appreciated)..... everyone who came, ate, drank, crashed & played polo... it was incredible to see the UK polo scene represented in Manchester... whos doing the next one then....?! also whoever decided to have a whip round for me and evryone who threw-in, that was really touching and (almost) unexpected (ask Emmet)...! Chan & Mirek for being the best value team mates in MCR, Aiden & all the guys & girl at Arcadia for putting up with us all for the weekend.... everyone who did an awesome job of reffing the games, i didn't hear of a single contentious call all weekend.... there are surely more people to thank but i forget right now....
I'm glad it's over! and i'm looking forward to waking up and seeing the whole weekend for what it was, an incredible weekend of polo, beers & laffs and not just the niggly, stressful moments that my head seemed to be filled with over the 2 days.... if i was short or abrubt with anyone or didn't talk to anyone enough please understand my head was all over the place....
and **of course **Cosmic for winning, that last games was so incredible, i loved the moments when all you could hear was Gabes & Ems freewheels clicking, complete tension.... until Tom told us all to cheer and we all did...!!!
