Right i had a rear wheel built friday buy a local shop using the original hub from my new bike which has only done about 10 miles and was stripped from the wheel by the shop. Used it today for the first time and as i was going up the hill outside my house the cog slipped, so off i got and pushed the bike back home, poped the wheel off and tightened the the lockring only to find it kept spinning. I took the ring off only to find the thread has stripped on the hub.
Obviously it was ok before i had taken it to the shop but i dont know what the fuck to say to them as they are more than likely going point the finger at me saying i fucked it up, but i dont want to be forking out to replace something i havent damaged myself. How would any of you approach them to try and get it sorted.
