  • Ride was great. Barbie was great. Mr Mental eating that Scotch Bonnet was hilarious.
Betty and I went to the Approach, drank a pint, but no show from anyone else so went to our respective homes.

  • Many thanks to The Mack Attack for organising and leading yet another brilliant ride. Great weather, great people, great bikes being ridden, too many cobbles though :P

Wanted to come to the BBQ but I had a wounded girlfriend to tend to. Hope everyone had fun.

Joe I hope your head doesn't start peeling, you looked redder than Dr. Zoidberg.

  • I hate missing out. Did you go on the ferry?

  • Ha! scotch bonnet!

ooooh my burnt arms...proof of a grand sunny day out...in need of some sleep before work tomorrow, see you chaps soon. And thanks for a good ride John

  • Nice one guys, had bags of fun fun. Thanks John, I wander how many cans you got through in the end??

  • Arms in SO much pain. It was grey, wet and cold a week ago! 'Sake!

  • Had a brilliant time, but had to leave just after the epic ferry crossing to get to the rugby (upstart seems to be a copy cat - one to watch I'm sure). The weather was spectacular! The organisation spot on (as always when Mack is running things)... twas nice to see some familiar faces and put names to new ones. BRING ON SUMMER! And lads, next time don't forget the sunscreen :)

  • fantastic day!

    looking forward to next rides

thank you all and see you next time

  • Thanx for a great ride and a overall perfect day, although I'm now red as a lobster!
It was my first ride with you guys, but not my last. Looking forward to many rides to come!

  • A great day for a great ride! many thanks to all involved.

  • Thanks MA3K for a great ride.

It was good also to meet some really nice people, espacially some local to me in Stratford and Leytonstone. Team Raleigh, hope you made it home OK.

Thanks Marcomarcos and others for waiting for me, proper mellow of you guys!
Great to meet you, Dicki and Jeez. Will see you round the neighbourhood some time. Nice spaced ride back too.
After my second puncture I knew i was spent!
Went to Decathlon for new tyre and tubes, then to shop 14 for a new rando, bumped into D and J then on to london fields, finally caught up for a beer. All Ok.

Smashing day to be fair, lovely ride in the sun, good people.
    Thanks once again!

  • Great ride. Soon again.

  • Were you on the geared Coolnago?

  • Cheers for the ride. The greenway was a nice discovery too.

As were the red stripes on my arms...

  • Shame I couldn't make this in the end, looked like great fun.
    Feckin volcano!

  • Everything turned out OK, no disasters, perfect weather, good company.

  • I saw all of you guys pull up outside my flat in North Woolich and stop for a while. Couldn't believe my eyes when I looked out off the balcony. I knew it would be people from lfgss.com and went to say hello. Even though I didn't get the name of the guy I spoke to it was good to finally meet someone from the forum, Im guessing it was you |³|MA3K. I was the jealous looking guy WALKING with my girlfriend.

Will hopefully meet some more of you on Sunday at the marathon ride!

  • What a day and what a ride, cheers everybody!

    PS - Sunburn, ouch!

  • That was a great ride, I've got some photos I'll post at some point.

I did exactly the same route up to Greenwich on Sunday, but this time I went up the Beckton Alps. It's definitely worth a look if you are ever in that area, the views are amazing, but as Ma3k said to me on the ride, it would be hard to do with 50 cyclists.
