  • Time for an update on the latest adventures Foffa Bikes.
After bumping in to Dani at Critical Mass, we broached the subject of sponsorship for a polo team or at least player. A few weeks later I received a note from Dani asking me if I'd like to come and try one of his new track frames for a while on the polo court. A free bike for me to play with! Excellent. I went down to his shop last week to discuss requirements etc. and it all looks pretty good in there so far. There are racks of conversions as well as a lot of his new 'Prima' frames and built up bikes. A couple of days later, I get the call to come and get my new polo bike!

I've given this a go and I really like frame. The geometry is fantastic, it handles really well, it's a proper sturdy frame and there's no toe over lap even on the 51cm.
I'm not just saying this because he's given me a bike to try out, but IMO, the Foffa Primas are really quite good. They wanted an honest opinion on what I thought of the frame, because if there are bad points, then they can do something about it. The components on this are fairly low spec, but I think you can spec it up as little or as much as you want, or, it doesn't say on the website, but you can pick up the frame and forks for £220, which I think is pretty reasonable.

I appreciate this post might sound a bit like spam, and you can guess Dani's motives for wanting to give me of all people a go on his new product, but as I've said all along, if your product is bad then you will get found out and panned, but if it's a good product, then hopefully it will speak for itself.

Feel free to flame, but I got me a really nice polo bike. ;)
