Roadworks in London

I was in an ASL this morning at a red light. A skip lorry drove up and joined me occupying the remainder of the ASL. He could easily have stopped where he was meant to. As a consequence, I took the only safe option open to me and having checked for traffic moving with a green light, proceeded to jump the red light. I was rather hoping to be stopped by the police but sadly was not. Perhaps I should have photographed the lorry and reported it but, by the time I could have got my phone out of my bag, the lights would probably have changed.

You'd have to record it 'sauntering' into the green box and not just stopped in it. Some cops will tell you it has not been updated in the highway code yet and as such can not be enforced!
