Balki, that Steve Mason track is great.

Yep... It was a staple down the docks raves around the time we were heading down there (late 90's). Shed 14 FTW!

Teriyaki Anarki Saki and Hardware.. I think I saw Beyer play down there?
-
• #85
Man, I couldnt handle Teriyaki... that sound system in Hi-Fi Bar used to make my ears bleed. Tunes were a bit too tough for my liking too.
We used to go to The Cage a fair bit too. Nasty place. Used to always see dudes lying face down in fag butts in there.
And Hard Kandy.... :/
My favourite though, was Drum and Bass at the Lounge on Thursdays. Never missed it. :D

Feel good tribal-ish tune tune by the Leftfield crew when they'd only released a couple of versions of their first 12", 'Not Forgotten'. Absolutley blew me away when it first came out, the beats just sounded really fresh.

This one really did my head in, mental slow tempo. maybe this really should be in the 'house' thread. But it aint house. Italo crappo me and my mate used to call all that stuff. YBU did one called keep it up that rocked too, more techy.
@ Graham I just found that house thread was all a bit waily women singers, I never could handle 'club' music back then, didn't really dig anything with vocals about feelin hot or wanting to get down that sort of trashy amercian lady singer rubbish. But this cheesy vocal (yeah feel it) just over and over got under my skin, the way it's just a monster intro and then suddenly a kind of faux funk cheese break just starts without any warning. It changed things a bit, in my head, about what I thought was cool. Now I love cheesy american lady singers and their Ooh yeah baby stuff.

Oh crap, the intro's been chopped off.
Nice!^ ^^
MBM are still at it, Jack Dangers has a label called TinoCorp, done some interesting breaks records, and some mental industrial noisy things too.
Here's on a I used to rinse, stoned, in Mum's Polo razzing about down to see you boys in Fishermead... hahah
