As a small business owner, let me tell you that the most amount of hassle for the pound comes from the interweb. I understand that it's important to answer e-mails and what not, but it's not justifiable to have someone flipping through all the cycling forums on the web to see if anyone wants anything from them when there are warm bodies with wallets in the shop.
Yes, they should get back to you (a gentle reminder via a phone call or an e-mail would be a good call), but I wouldn't expect them to be reading every thread in the lfgss and then figuring out who you are from your alias.
