you can console yourself with having the fastest time of the night...although you'd think a bike mechanic would get his cleat tension right ;)

You would think that, wouldn't you. I crashed in to a bus because of those pedals. I think I'm going to put my road pedals on for the next drag sprints.

First lfg event for me too - great group of guys and girls, thanks very much to the organisers. Special thanks to Jim for the coaching (still working on that high speed skid going into 180 degree spin then backwards pedal across the finish-line), and to Tim for the loan of the hat (I believe Fran is going to get it to you).

I cycled through this section of the Greenway last night, and there are now airport-landing-strip-style-lights lighting up the track. Which is cool.
