26 x 1 3/4 Westwood Rims and BIG chains

Cheers for this thread! I am looking for 28 x 1 1/2" rims, don't really wanna spend a lot as this is going to be a bit of a beater (found the old roadster frame in the canal, frame: beautiful condition. Everything else: rusted thru)

Apparently Simpson Cycles stock them at around £20 each. But I am still shopping around so anything you've come across let me know!

Also what's the deal with brakes on these steel rims, where can I source some new pads?

Fibrax for brake pads. Or Roxy borrowed a dutch bike with some salmon coloured pads on its rod brakes that she claimed actually worked. The rubber ones are a bit theoretical, rather than truly practical.
