What's the point of going HTML5 when the spec is still subject to internal changes? It seems rather a fruitless pursuit to go for compliance with a (- long way to go -) yet to be finished standard. I think you should just keep the whole thing focused on your main objective: for LFGSS to be faster, and sexier (but not at the expense of speed).
