Amazing skidder skills to catch dinner, non?
I'm impressed by your lateral thinking.

How much leaning is involved, you know, if I wanted to be a messenger?
Never lean, especially when cornering.

The thing is, that although there are couriers on here, mostly there isn't. Riding a bike hasn't got that much to do with being a courier.
As mentioned, go to Movint Target, go to their forum, look at the top, and you will find a whole guide for people wanting to be a messenger.
If you go on there and start a new thread asking questions, one will be instantly dispatched to your house with a machete. -

really not sure why we are giving advice
he clearly cant do research, so probably wont be able to find the initiative to actually turn up to a job
if he cannot use an internet search, how fucked will he be when it comes to the index in the a-z

Ask his sat nav to tell him were to go ;) which he will buy with ALLL the money you earn being a courier.

The thread to check on the Moving Target Forum is called 'Got a question about being or becoming a bicycle messenger / cycle courer? Check for answers here.'

i was offered a job at Courier Systems - they seem desperate for any guttersnipe with a bike and more than one leg to work for them. Anyone with no experience interested in getting courier work should just roll down to their offices and they'll probably hire you on the spot.
(i turned it down for a cushy, well-paid, desk-based research post at UCL. Win!)

my old company now has a full time position, they gave me a leg up so i want to help them fill it, if you know me and want to try it out send me a PM and i'll give you the controller's # and my recommendation, not the best company by any stretch, but a good way to get experience.
