Completely off topic but once we went to Croatia and asked a lady to take a photo of us. She was confused by the camera and took it backwards. It is the most amazing close-up of an eyeball. Way better than our stupidly arranged photo in front of something old.

This photo's great Serk, of two of the forum's most gentle gentlemen
Give thanks for compliment Skully.....
I have yet to post re Saturday, but.... many many thanks to the organisers, marshalls and attendees for allowing us to film the event, all last minute and so much more of an honour as a result.
We have about 2 hours of quality footage taken on a decent dv film camera set up. As seen above, we also have about 2 hours of ride footage which we will look at tonight.
The film will be edited over the next month or so, it will go on internet, so we will put link on here when it is ready.
We are looking at healthy benefits of cycling, Rasta and set against a backdrop of springtime in London and in tweed.
Thank you all for your cooperation.
Give thanks and nuff love to all,
Tim -

Thanks very much dude! Yah, I probably owe all the praise I'm getting to the 50mm being set as fast as possible on the day. No potatochop (no time) but crop and auto-contrast on quite a few in Picasa.
Here's a really cool set from someone who I'm not sure is forum/not.

Heads off to all the marshals, bakers, sponsors, and everybody who put in countless hours to make this event happen. You not only made some 500 cyclists proud and happy but literary thousands of unsuspecting Londoners and visitors. Thank you for that, we loved it!

My darling people in Tweed. What a day. What a spectacle. What larks and what a joy to be cycling amongst you all again for a second sartorial year. Teddy should be knighted and the marshalls and organisers should all receive OBE's. All the ugliness and vileness of taxi drivers aside for the moment, it does go to show that 400 beautiful people can lift the spirits of a city and long may the Tweed Run reign and long may it be kept in the spirit splendidness.

on my journey from the bathhouse to the green man i stopped and asked a charming man directions. he was busy photographing a shop front. he asked if he could take a picture of me. when i told him one of the reasons i was dressed the way i was he asked if it would be possible for him to come along and take a couple of pictures. the results are amazing. his name is simon armstrong and this is the group picture he took.
