Wanted: Complete Single Speed Large bike (for 6'4 bloke) up to £300

Hi there

New to the forum but can see there's a stack of useful stuff here...

i need a commuting bike asap. Looking for my first SS as my commute is flat and i only ever use 2-3 gears anyway. Used to have plenty of cruisers/bmx's back in the day so looking forward to the relatively simple maintenance on them.

looking to spend £250 max for complete working bike...

Would like:

• Light bike to carry up a flight of stairs
  
• Riser bars (am used to hybrid /more upright seating position)
  
• Capacity for fitting mudguards and rear rack
  
• freewheel
  
• puncture proof tires
  
• obviously something big enough for a 6'4 bloke!
  
  

don't care much for colours or hip styling, more interested in function than form. also not totally up with the lingo/jargon yet.

Look forward to any pointers from anyone.

Oh yeah forgot to say i'm in SW London, and can pay and pick up in London only - ASAP!!!

Just sent you PM. I'm selling a derivation of this: http://www.fixedgeargallery.com/2004/henley.htm. It's got aerorage tack wheels, freewheel, F&R brakes, new bars and a couple of other bits I can't call to mind. The condition is worse than in the photo. It needs a few replacement parts (chain, chainring) and a clean before it's race ready.

It's 60cm C2C, so it should be a good fit. And I'm SW.

Can i point sir in the direction of the 61 cm Fuji Track that i have just put up for sale on the post below yours. Would be ideal!
