Frame is in overall good condition, no dents, no dings, just with some surface rust on the stays and on the forks (Majority of which shown in pics), would clean up easily with very little effort. Bought it a while back, bit too big for me, was covered in vasoline when I bought it to stop it rusting (I didnt do it though.. was a pain getting home with the super slippy gunk everywhere) Gave it a light clean and it has sat in my room now for quite a while. It's just getting in the way at the minute.
It has a really odd paintjob and the paint looks like gunmetally grey colour on the top, seat, and downtube. The lugs are really cool, and painted cream. The forks and stays are painted duck eggy blue. The decals are for the most part, in ver good condition.
Vitus 971 were steel, double butted frames, something similar to the likes of Reynolds 531. It isn't glued like the Duralinox 979 frames, which bypasses the whole mysterious headtube failure.
Anyway, here's some pics.

Following MMcCarthy's advise decided to advertise this for sale here aswell, as could turn out to be a lovely single speed or fixed gear bike.
Looking £130.
It's located in Belfast, Ireland, but will post. Will be a bit extra to post, but I'll pick up a free box in Halfrauds and whatever it costs me to post (parcel force or send it now) will be all you pay.
If you want to ask anything, my number's 07857388264. Or ask mccarthy :P
