For Sale: £15 Adjustable Velcro foot straps

NEW AND IMPROVED! I have now sourced nickle plated pressed not stamped (much stronger) metal buckles for these straps,these buckles do cost considerably more than the plastic ones, so these straps are *NOW £18 *with free postage , this a change from the previous price of £15 plus £1.50 for postage. These straps are comfortable and strong, made from nylon webbing and velcro, they are easily adjusted to the size of your foot. Suitable for most BMX and touring pedals, if your are unsure send me a photo of your pedals and I will tell you.

I've followed strap development from a few different people and the common stage in their development seems to be the removal of any kind of buckle/clip/router from the design due to it being a weak point.

Yours has one.

Is this a 'positive decision' in your design process or simply a weak-point which you havent encountered?

I imagine the section between buckle and pedal to be the week spot. In fact I can't imagine that taking the strain at all. I ordered one of the first two made which should arrive tomorrow, so shall see then and will certainly post feedback on here, you feeling confident George ?

Hey, I'm very confident the buckle will hold, its not as weak as it looks I've tried to break it and I couldn't, it also makes adjustment easier and in my opinion looks better than if it didn't have one.

Received my pair this morning. Well made straps, certainly put thought and effort into them. However they're not suiting to my bike so I'm gonna get some cages. If anybody would like to take mine off me for same price I paid, I can deliver in London. Could maybe chuck in my black dmr V8s for an extra tenner, they are in pretty much exactly same state as those in photo above, under a year old, not ridden much.

Would advise those thinking of buying these to go for it if it suits their set up. Looks silly on mine though.
