Ok so just had a look at the bits and the rim tape(rubber) that came pre fitted seems like a cheap pos!
the continental tape they have sent out is a proper high pressure rim tape its almost a fabric! much more secure and thicker so I will fit that to both wheels. and contact them to find out why they think that saving a few pence on cheap rimtape is a good idea!
