For Sale: Bob Jackson Frame, 105 Groupset, wheels, track bars etc

I have taken delivery of my beloved and now renovated Bob Jackson frame. I had intended to build it up as a geared bike and had been quietly amassing the necessary stuff over the past 6 months or so.

However, now that I am in the position to complete the build, events have overtaken me and this is now a project that I am unlikely to finish. So my loss is your gain.

I can sell everything as a one lot or separately. It comprises the following:

Bob Jackson Frame

Bob Jackson Grand Prix frame in antique gold with yellow infill panels. All the paintwork and decals are new and carried out by Bob Jackson.

Size: 55cm top tube and 55cm down tube
BB: english threaded
Seatpost: 27.2mm
Dropouts: Campag long

The frame has just been completely renovated by Bob Jackson. They have fitted a NOS Shimano 105 headset and have moved the rear brake bridge to fit 700c wheels and short drop brakes. They have also fixed the seatpost clamp to an allen key fitting and have added two gear lever braze ons.

There is some slight damage to one of the downtube decals (see picture). Bob Jackson have agreed to repair the decal if desired.

Wheels

Hand made 700cc brand new Mavic Open Pros with Shimano 105 hubs. All in chrome/silver.

The rear comes with a brand new Shimano 10 speed cluster.

Group Set

Shimano 105 group set virtually NOS consisting of

Front and rear brakes (short drop) hex nut fitting

Cranks 170mm with 52 Shimano and 39 suntour chain rings. Both appear to have had little or no use

Gear levers and braze on bosses

Front and rear mechs

Shimano 105 pedals which have cleaned up well but have scratches on the underneath but the chrome on the traps etc is immaculate.

I am awaiting a set of non-aero 105 brake levers which whilst may not be of same cosmetic standard as the rest of the set should compliment it.

I will throw in a UN73 (107mm) english thread which may be of use and an unused Shimano chain.

Satori track bars: Brand new. Aluminium. 38cm wide and clamp size of 25.4mm

Satori seat post Brand new. 27.2. never fitted.

Saddle: San Marco Supercorsa Concor saddle in brown leather. There is a tear on the rear of the saddle (see photos). Very obviously used but looking good with plenty of life left in it.
