I am Chris. You might have met me on the CTC or Retrobike forums, but I've lurked here for a while, delving in to get bits of knowledge, but I think it's time I met a few new people.
I'm a collector and restorer of all kinds of bikes, my collection ranges from 1948 to about 1990. I mostly ride singlespeeds, but I might take the plunge and have a go at fixed this summer. The thing I hate most about cycling is the fact that I know loads about geared bikes, and it's now all useless, 'cause I don't use any of them.
I live on a boat, usually just outside Reading but I'm about to move up north. No family, but I have a lovely dog.
Anyway, hope to get to know you all soon!
