Decided to go for a quick blast yesterday evening, pushing it somewhat for a couple of miles and a bug hits my right eye, I was doing about 25mph. Nothing unusual, pulled over, wiped my eye and continued, get home and notice bits of bug in the corner of my eye. They came out easily, then I notice a black dot sitting on the edge of my iris. it wouldn't budge using water and it was beginning to hurt - off to A&E for a 3 hour wait..followed by the removal of some kind of insect part embedded into my cornea with a sterilised needle! the anesthetic eye drops worked a treat, but try keeping your eye open with a needle coming towards it. Fun.
I might invest in some new shades.
