Man, serious nostalgia tidal wave. I haven't heard that since i was in my childhood bedroom listening to "Now 4" on my hand-me-down wood-effect record player. I must have been about 8. It was before "I always feel like like sombody's watching me" by Rockwell but after "Ghostbusters" by Ray Parker Jnr.
dunno why but 'submission' by the sex pistols always reminds me of the time i hitch hiked over to belgium to see a race back when i was 16. At the opening chords i can smell barbecue smoke in a pine forest and the chattering of thousands of voices in a language i don't understand. I'm not sure why.
Damn, if I had it here I'd get out my copy of Duck Rock and put it on.
