its now possible to unlock your iphone for O2 customers in the Uk (http://shop.o2.co.uk/update/unlockmyiphone.html).
Someone gave me their old iphone 2g handset... (they got an upgrade and are still on o2) which i intend on running a tmobile sim in... does anybody know if o2's unlock system will work to let me run the tmobile sim in the OLD handset.. or does that only aply to the upgraded new handset which my friend is now on?
i only ask this as it would save me the hassle of downloading the bootloaders and jailbreaking software which im not very good at anyway...
