That's pretty savage. I went up the gentler but longer side yesterday on my fixed, which wasn't too bad if you get a running start and keep plugging. Couldn't contemplate the steep side with the traffic though.

The long, nore gentle (but still 13%) side is the way we're going. The savage short bit we're going down - will mean brakeless young blades should be prepared to think the unthinkable and dust off that monoplaner and dirt harry combo.
