Portmeirion. Is it worth a visit?

If you really want to spend anytime in North Wales then do a proper job of it and spend at least 4-5 days there and see things like Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle, climb Cader Idris, Snowdon and ride a bike over the Trawsfyndd mountain pass and Bwlch Y Groes.

Alternatively, if you're not into castles and epic countryside then give North Wales a miss.

I am into castles. Not sure about the countryside -- although I do love Heartbeat! And that happens in the countryside!

But yeah, I know there's lots to see, there. Not yet sure how to proceed with it.
