• Your cat could have a fracture or other potentially serious injury, I would take the cat to the vets for a general check-up... the vet will stretch out all the limbs and will make sure there's nothing wrong. It'll cost you about £40 in London, say you can't afford x-rays.

    The cat may get better over time but in my opinion it's better to be safe than sorry. Unlike humans it's very difficult for a cat to complain to you about how painful it is to run around all day on a once-fractured leg, etc. I'd rather stump up £40 and make sure that your pet is going to be in the best physical condition it can be than save a bit of money and hope for the best.

    My 2p... at the very least keep the cat indoors, well rested and keep a very close eye on the limp.
