• One of the first things I was told when I got my rollers, was not to touch the brake. I can imagine the outcome.

    front wheel stops;
    front roller doesn't stop;
    rear roller doesn't stop;
    I'm suddenly doing -4 kph in my little kitchen.

    Fixed. Braking hard on the rollers shoots you off the back, like stopping running on a treadmill.

    If you just ride off the side of rollers, you go forward at most about 1% of whatever speed you were doing, less in reality because most of the energy is wasted in wheel spin.
