I will follow the norths tweed contingent wherever (mainly because I don't want to ride anywhere on my own wearing second-hand, mis-matched tweed, that may in fact be too tight to pedal in), but I agree that an additional hill seems unduly punishing, even if it is for a tasty breakfast.
(Already tight waistband may also deny the full English. Are the gentry thinner than us or something?)
