How old are you, anyway? Anywhere between 18 and 30 and I would not be surprised, you enigma, you.
-
• #429
I will be 37 mate...
-
• #430
We out this Friday kids?
-
• #431
I'm away
-
• #432
No replies, no riders! What is going on?!
EPIC FAIL!
Oh, and my tattoo got finished this evening!
-
• #433
Nothing's going on dude. Guess it's just a busy night for everyone, it being a bank holiday weekend. I'm out of action due to mechanical failure, Sparky is on his mini-tour..
-
• #434
Well nothing has happened for 2 weeks!
This friday?! Any of you f@+kers in? Would be good to test my new birthday present out! Ahahhaahhahhahahhhahah!
Peace!

Tweed Run the day after, but I'm up for something. Let's keep it small and realistic: spin out to that nice suburb we passed the other day, by the river? Pub garden? Do it early, too, so there's some light?
-
• #436
5 miles and a pint is better then people not coming because they've heard it's a 25-mile terror-ride in the dark complete with exploding frogs.
-
• #437
No exploding frogs you say? I'm out.
-
• #438
Well, we'll be at a pub. You could always bring your own frogs.
-
• #439
cool, yeah sounds good. thn some of the harder riders could go on... see if spencee is up for it, and i shall give bennyb, wigs, snarble, robd, charlie and dom calls!
-
• #440
I might be in, probably cycling to work tomorrow anyway though, depends how late we'll be setting out.
-
• #441
Cool. Will be leaving around 7ish. I really need a ride, as haven't been out for 3 weeks!
-
• #442
I'm not committing, but where are you guys meeting tomorrow evening if I get a chance to pop out?
-
• #443
Can't do as late as 7. Finish work at 4...
Will probably head home an sort the bikes out for the Tweed Run.
-
• #444
+1 got almost everything done now. Just got to give the bike a clean after tomorrows ride to work.
Sparky - Been out using the clipless pedals/ SPDs they are great. Why the hell didn't I use them before now?
-
• #445
They were a revelation when I started using them too. Was thinking about clips and straps for the 'Roller but think it would be a step back.
I have a dilemma. Rutland Cycles were going to post my headset today but the card was declined because I had to cancel it and get a new one since I ordered it. I have all the parts ready other than that - do I cancel the order and get a more sensibly priced, perfectly good headset from an LBS & try and get them to part build that bitch tomorrow, or do I stick to my guns and wait it 'til next week?
-
• #446
I'd honestly go down to your LBS, get them to fit a perfectly fine FSA headset and then your up and rolling sooner and you've got more money in your back pocket. If you then think later down the line you want to a get a new headset then get one.

Good advice.
-
• #448
Here here, a chris king isn't really going to improve your ride in a huge manner!
-
• #449
Nah you're quite right. The gold chain will make it enough of a theft magnet as it is :)

Nah you're quite right. The gold chain will make it enough of a theft repellent as it is :)

Oh, it is my birthday on Thursday. Was thinking about hitting a ride on Wednesday night if anyone is up for a hoot and a toot! Let me know mo-fo's.
