Wanted: Cheap racing bike (£75)

My friend's after a cheap racing bike, around £75 he can get around town on. Not expecting anything super special, but just something that works, single speed, geared or fixed, and obviously the nicer the better. He's 5'10", can pick up in London and the cash is waiting. If you have anything knocking about that would be great, pm me or post on this thread.

you know those cheapish road bikes you see around london, aluminium in either black or blue with silver stripes along the top tube? I have a size 54 one that I disassembled to clean but never got around to doing anything with. If your friend has some time he / she can have the whole thing but its in pieces so will need to assemble it. All parts should be there so, should be not too much of a headache. Its not in an amazing state at the moment but could definitely be fixed up. I would let it go for free. Its in my shed in Hackney E8!

hi nim23 im the friend who wants to buy a bike (just registered). As i have literally no skill with bikes would you be able to grip up the handlebars, put one brake on and get a new chain on it if i gave you like £30 extra or is that not possible? i have no idea how much things cost :-/

I have a fixed bike, can do for a £100, new brakes, new back wheel.
