Copenhagen Ride '10

Hi everyone,

Here is the plan for the first organised European ride from Fullcity.

Etage 1: 30th Apr, 8am, 127km riding from London to Harwich, taking the ferry (check-in time 5:15pm), drinking and North Sea wind overnight!

Etage 2: 1st May the ferry drops us at 1pm in Esbjerg, here friends (about 3 so far) from Copenhagen pick us up and we'll start the search for Silkeborg (120km).

Etage 3: 2nd May, Silkeborg to Arhus (43km), short ferry journey and then the search for Copenhagen (still 140km from here).

In Copenhagen, we’ll stay with the friendly Danes with whom we’re partnering up on this caper in Denmark.

It’s gonna be fun and stuff, there will be organised group rides with the posse, sprinting the harbour, chasing the girls and stuff. Plus I’ve got a hankering to see Elsinore.

ESSENTIAL: booking the ferry: a six-bed cabin would be £237 in total. This makes it £39.50 each and further groups of six will get their own cabin, etc. But we do need the passport numbers of all of those that want to come with us (stupid UK travel policy).

Returning: now the hardcore can of course ride back, but sadly I’ll be researching flights back: probably Easyjet from Copenhagen to Stansted, flights are around £40 (incl. bike).

So, who’s up for a madcap Danish adventure?
