I love the unipack. It's the perfect enterprising scheme that succeeds by drawing the very basis of the fad for bicycles as fashion accessories, cynically reducing it to the base form and making it accessible to the burgeoning mass of willing ignorami.
Of course, on the downside, it floods the market with poor quality bicycles, which many users unwittingly (because of the little information they have gleaned by the fashion aspect) render dangerous. On the upside it infuriates those who thought the same look was only possible with great expense and knowledge.
But at least these were built robustly enough that they are still around decades later.
