This is a last chance on this bike before I split... £680 to forumites.
Pick-up from Kennington - day or night. Can deliver within reason.
You can dibs, but I will be going on whatever PM comes in first, because that's easiest for me.
As always, cash talks.
Gazelle Champion Mondial Track Bike 58.5 c-t, 57 tt.£800 Price dropped - £680
This is a beautiful looking bike and very light, tight and fast.
It dates from the early seventies and is one of few examples to be made in Columbus Steel (sticker on frame), rather than the usual Reynolds 531.
The frame is fully chromed, and the Campagnolo dropouts and the headtube lugs are bare chrome. The seat collar bolt is also Campag.
The frame is in excellent condition, with very few scratches, mainly in the dropout area.
Please ask any further questions if you have them, but the frame really has got to be seen, the clearances are very tight and the headtube angle steep, making this ideal for the track and great fun on the road.
Spec:
Gazelle Frame
Campagnolo Record Pista Cranks 165mm (48t)
Formula Hubs/Wheels fixed/free
Campagnolo Record headset
San Marco Regal Saddle
Kalloy stem/seatpost (90mm/27.0)
Kalloy bars
Soyo Champ grips
Sram PC-1 chain
Phil Wood 18t Sprocket
Bontrager Race-X-Lite AC tires (23c)
The bike comes as shown and the parts have built up into a very, very light bike with an amazingly smooth drive chain, courtesy of Phil, Campag and Sram.
ALL parts have seen no more than 5 miles of use and are basically new and totally unmarked.
The bb and headset were fitted carefully with copperslip and a headset press.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot
