Hi all, I've just had a look at the courts behind Maindy Stadium and they look really promising. And even better at the moment they are left unlocked and are free.
They are not illuminated but as the clocks go forward this weekend and it's light till gone 8 there should be a good hour and a half of evening play.
Anyone have a preference for a particular evening? Any night but Wednesday would be good for me, starting about 6.30.
Cheers and thanks Pip for the suggestion of the venue.

Will you play any weekends? I can't really make evenings at the moment as the daylight is too short, perhaps May will be OK for evening visits as I have to travel from Bristol.

im in Newport for uni, although leaving at the end of May, as im a third year, but its always good to see more polo getting off the ground.
Not sure if you have seen my other thread, but Im doing a photo project on bike polo, so if anyone is willing to pose for me, i would be really appreciative of it :)http://www.lfgss.com/thread39266.html

haha, yeh, that is pretty weird.
yeh, thats me, small tattoo behind my right ear. i work at boulders as well.umm, not sure, when the weather brightens up we will hopefully get outdoors rather than to boulders, but that is dependant on getting more kit from uni, ropes, quickdraws etc.
otherwise outside of uni, weekends etc im sure we will be going climbin on our own outside. -

ooh brill, drop me a line if your going outside at all, would be nice to have some people to climb with, i have not yet accumulated many partners of my own, what is always an awsome day out is taking a ride up to a spot, there's a nice cliff only 7 miles outside of cardiff, it is right by a huge road but i don't really notice the traffic, its separated by a nice amount of trees (good due to accessibility)
maaaarrrttttttin get some dates on the go :p

How about a knock about on Sunday at 3 at Maindy. The hardcourts are behind the velodrome. I've got three spare mallets so we can share them about. If some can't make it then there will be lots of other sessions I hope.
