I am looking for a freewheel that I could screw onto my flip-flop track hub. Oh wait maybe I have to switch to a fixed-free flip flop right? Anyway bottom of the story is that I need a freewheel on one side, and a fixed for the road on the other...
start the jokes about flip-flopping now
no you can screw a freewheel on to the fixed side

i have a 24T screwed onto a dura ace track hub, which is mostly down to my gayness and inability to ride fixed.

Haha. I knew we'd snare you eventually.
You can keep using a fixed/fixed hub with a freewheel screwed on one side (That's what my Surly setup is).White Industries make a 23t which is awesome quality but pricey at £68ish
Failing that you'll need to keep chaeck Herne Hill and ebay as they occasionally have older ones turn up.

I see no reason why you couldn't use this on the back as well as the front (custom USA trials setup).
(Although perhaps the thread diameter is different though, you'd better ask.)Normal quality freewheel body:

found one!
now how do I get it on my hub?... Haaasssaaaannn! -
• #9
you thread it on, that's it! If you can't do that yourself, you should be allowed one!
-
• #10
good luck getting it off in one piece though!
-
• #11
Grease the thread well before you put it on.

Awesome!
"Full Ball"
ffs
There is an obscure tool that will fit those freewheels. Although the amount of torque a polo gear puts on the freewheel, it most likely will not do any good.

I know you have one now, but I just discovered that Circle A make 24t, 26t, 28t and 30t freewheels in case anyone else was looking. Intense.

yeah, they're the ones with 2 shorter teeth, to help the chain come off when pedaling hard.
